Advanced Strategies for Targi
Diversify your resources
It's also important to diversify your resources. Try to have all resources i.e., salt, dates, gold, and pepper at all times, as they help you purchase cards and score points.
Try to complete your rows
When you start a row, try to finish it with 4 cards as it will give you at least 2 victory points at the end of the game.
Use the board cards to full advantage
Use Fata Morgana to claim one of the unoccupied middle spaces. Play Trader when you have so many of one type of good. Try to utilize Silversmith to convert resources to victory points towards the end game.
Keep track of your hand limit
During the end of the round, if you have more than 10 goods or 3 golds. You have to return the excess. So, plan and utilise Trader and/or Silversmith border cards during the round.
Try to combo tribe cards
Some tribe cards will combo well with others. Know what cards synergise better with each other before the game and try to buy the combo to score more points.
